“ Tried this for the first time. Found a cool table outside, and our server showed up quickly and was very good. Expected bar food and were pleasantly surprised. The Caesar was just OK, but the pizza was surprisingly good, we liked it a lot. Service remained excellent, and we had a very nice evening. Will be back. ”

“ The Loon was established by Mr. Cliff..., a BADASS...!!! He brought in an Italian Chef, Mr. Allyssio to Juice up the menu. They both succeeded in their endeavors..., The Loon was purchased 3/4 years ago by a couple that kept the standards above the norm. Their location did move to Hall Street yet their quality of food/drinks has not deviated at all. Their menu is quite something and everything on the menu is YUMMY...!!! If you haven't been to the Loon I suggest you venture out and check it out. Wait staff is on Point, Chefs are Exceptional and the outdoor venue is outstanding. Perry's has a Pork Chop on Fridays for $17..., The Loon has a Pork Chop everyday that ends in Y for $17 that rivals Perry's..., need I say more...? Get your ASS out of the Basement and come visit. Heads Up..., during college football season they are a Michigan State Bar. Who Fucking Knows...? Don't be a Stranger...!!! BOOMER SOONER...!!! ”

“ I just want to say the food here is so freaking GOOD! I live around the corner and have seen the Loon move all around the West Village area (remember when it was in the CVS parking lot?). I came back twice in one week, which is more than the last 5 years combined. We came here for a late dinner after all the other places around here closed. The blue cheese burger I got was phenomenal, so were the chicken wings. We came back a few days later for house made calami and some loaded fries. Both so so deliciously prepared, and the calamari was so well done! Not even "for bar food" but for American casual cuisine, I am loving this neighborhood place with friendly service and reliably good food, and a nice place to hang out with the dog during late night walks when the munchies hit. ”

“ The bartenders here are some of the most personable people in Dallas! The drinks are THE BEST drinks in Dallas!! The food??? My husband loves the fried tacos! I love the chalupas, the chicken piccata, the pork chop ... who am I kidding? All of the food is amazing!!!! If you are in the neighborhood check it out!!! Ask for Lindy at the bar, or Robin, or Autumn ... The Loon is a GREAT friendly, neighborhood bar!!! ”
